General Course Information
The Special Course “Cerebral Palsy Treatment Program Using Professor Kozyavkin Method” for chiropractic specialist has been developed specifically for training doctors to perform biomechanical correction of the spine according to Professor Kozyavkin Intensive Neurophysiological Rehabilitation Method (INRS) in other countries. The Course will be administered by the Education and Certification Centre, which operates in Ukraine as part of the International Clinic of Rehabilitation (Truskavets, Ukraine).
Goals and Objectives
This course is directed on training doctors to perform biomechanical correction of the spine according to Professor Kozyavkin Intensive Neurophysiological Rehabilitation Method (INRS)
At the end of the course we expect the student have skills to perform biomechanical correction of the spine by ISNR.
Who is this course for?
The course is designed for Manual Therapists (chiropractors, osteopaths) who will work in clinics accredited by the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in other countries.

Who is this course for?
The course is designed for Manual Therapists (chiropractors, osteopaths) who will work in clinics accredited by the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in other countries.
Requirements to potential students:
- Availability of appropriate education and qualifications, particularly in manual therapy (chiropractic, osteopathy)
- English language proficiency not lower than B1
- Availability of an employment contract with one of the accredited medical institutions administering the Professor Kozyavkin Method.
The course description
The theoretical and practical parts of the course are provided altogether under the training program of the Education and Certification Centre by the doctors who practice biomechanical correction of the spine in Kozyavkin International Clinic of Rehabilitation.
The first theoretical part usually takes 3 weeks and includes online lectures and presentations according to the schedule. Before each lecture, students shall independently familiarize themselves with provided methodological materials and recommended academic and scientific publications, and be prepared to participate in the discussion. The practical part runs on a daily basis throughout the diagnostic and therapeutic process and includes medical briefings, trainings, and practical classes. Only those students who have successfully completed the full training program, have demonstrated understanding of Kozyavkin Method, have passed the test control and practical skills exam, receive permission to perform biomechanical correction of the spine under the supervision of a physician of the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic.
Theoretical material includes:
Block 1. Professor Kozyavkin Intensive Neurophysiological Rehabilitation System. General postulates in rehabilitation by Professor Kozyavkin method. History of the development of INRS. Basic tenets and philosophy of INRS.
Block 2. Diagnostic algorithm in SINR. Indications and contraindications for rehabilitation by SINR. Diagnostic screening of 4 levels. Algorithm for conducting neurological, orthopedic and psychomotor examinations in SINR.
Block 3. Cerebral palsy. Etiology. Classification. Muscle tone. Grading spasticity.
Block 4. Biomechanical correction of the spinal column is the basis of the INRS.
Block 5. The complex of main and additional medical rehabilitation activities in INRS.
Practical part includes:

- Acquaintance with the main departments and medical rooms of the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic.
- Acquaintance with the examination of patients on different levels of screening.
- Diagnostic process in manual therapy according to INRS.
- Practical training in performing biomechanical correction of the spinal column.
Certification
The nominal certificate is given to the student after successful material absorption and satisfactory performance of the biomechanical correction of the spine according to the Kozyavkin method in the workplace under the supervision of one of the doctors of the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic for 2-4 weeks.
Duration of the course is from 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the readiness of the student to independently perform the biomechanical correction of the spine by the Kozyavkin Method.
